DIY IDEA // MY BEDSIDE TABLES

Un giorno lo prometto, auto-parteciperò alla rubrica Blogger House. Nel frattempo volevo lasciarvi con un'anteprima: la scelta dei comodini. Come vi ho spesso anticipato la mia nuova casa è davvero mini: due piani per un totale di 45 mq :)
Quando ho dovuto arredare la camera, prima ho preso il letto e in base allo spazio rimasto ho dovuto scegliere economici bedside tables.
Da un lato sono state messe due banalissime mensole nere Lack di Ikea. Il risultato? un comodino economico e funzionale.
I promise, in the near future, I will take part to my section Blogger House. In the meantime I wanna show you a little preview: the choice of bedside tables. As I often told you my new house is very tiny: 45 square meters in two floors :)
When I had to furnish the bedroom, before I bought the bed and then I chose cheap bedside tables according to remained space.
On one side I placed two ordinary black Ikea Lack shelves. The result? An economic and functional bedside table.

Nell'altro lato ho scelto un vecchio comodino Ikea, ormai fuori produzione, dalla linea vintage che originariamente era color faggio con particolari neri. Io l'ho successivamente dipinto le parti faggio con il bianco per renderlo in tinta con i colori della casa. Non è carino? Non vi sembra un vecchio banchetto da scuola? Sono così fiera del mio comodino :)
On the other side I chose an old Ikea bedside table, now discontinued. It has a vintage line and it was originally beech wood with black particulars. Then I painted the beech in white to match with house colors. Isn't it nice? Did it seem an old school desk? I'm so proud of my bedside table :)

Aspettando il post di lunedì, dove vi farò vedere quali comodini ho scelto per la mia camera, vi lascio con una selezione di bedside table particolari. A volte basta poco per uscire dagli schemi.

Siamo arrivate all'ultima "ragazza" - tra virgolette non perché Samantha è la più vecchia del gruppo, ma perché le ragazze sono "le ragazze" ;) -
Dell'appartamento Newyorkese salvo la cucina, con questo leggero tocco anni '50, mentre non salvo il color verdino ospedale!! Della casa a Los Angeles, Malibu precisamente, cosa dire se non che è davvero molto bella? Non vi piacerebbe passare lì le vacanze estive? Magari come quando eravamo a scuola e avevamo a disposizione quasi tre mesi!!! Visto che questa casa si può affittare a 75.000 $ al mese, vi basteranno solamente 225.000 $, circa 172.000 €. Il suo valore di mercato è comunque di 15 milioni di dollari circa (11 milioni e mezzo di euro circa).

About New York apartment I like the kitchen, a little bit 50s style, while I don't like the light green color characteristic of the hospital!! About Los Angeles house, exactly Malibu, what I have to say? It's really beautiful! And what about to spend summer holiday there? If only we were still at school, we could have three months to spend!! Considering that this house is on rent at 75000 $/month, you just have to pay 225000 $, about 172000 €. Anyway its market value is about 15 milion dollar (about 11,5 million euro).

Mancano due post!!! A parte gli scherzi mi sono divertita a fare questo tour delle varie case... posso dirlo?... del telefilm più bello che abbiano mai trasmesso. Bello dall'inizio alla fine, a parte i primi episodi. Ve li ricordate? quelle interruzioni e quei monologhi rivolti al pubblico a casa? terribile!

Joking apart, I really had fun to show you every house and apartment of this... could I say it?... serial tv, the best one broadcast on air. Breathtaking from the beginning to the end, apart the first episodes. Do you remember those breaks and those monologues direct to viewers? Terrible!

Dopo una settimana passata a proporvi svariati interni di Sex and the City ormai credo ne abbiate la nausea, ma purtroppo gli appartamenti non sono finiti!! mancano quelli di Charlotte e Samantha :)

Oggi comunque facciamo una pausa, è lunedì e quindi vi presento la stanza, anzi la mansarda di una blogger davvero dolce, Annachiara, alias Any.

Lo stile della tua stanza: Adoro la mia piccola mansarda perchè è un luogo tutto mio. Avrei un sacco di idee per arredarla ma purtroppo mancano il tempo e le finanze... Per ora è un semplice spazio tutta in legno, in cui l'anno scorso io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo deciso di imbiancare il soffitto per rendere lo spazio più arioso e luminoso. E' uno spazio in cui vi, in ogni suo angolo,un qualcosa che racconta la mia vita. E' uno spazio, che si può vedere tranquillamente, appartiene a una ragazza giovane.

Style of your room: I love my small attic room because it’s my private place. I’ve got plenty of ideas to furnish it, but no time, nor money… For the time being it’s simply a room with wooden finishing; last year, my boyfriend and I decided to have the ceiling painted in white to make the place seem airier and wider. Here, every corner, every detail recounts a piece of my life: a place belonging to a young girl, as you see.

Ispirazioni: Adoro lo stile shabby chic e quello provenzale. Vorrei riuscire un giorno a creare anche pavimento in bianco... :D

Per quale squadra tifate? Donne! Non sto parlando di calcio, ma di Mr. Big, Aidan e Petrovsky. Anche se la storia tra Carrie e Mr. Big è idilliaca e ovviamente dovevano per forza finire insieme, io credo fermamente che Aidan fosse l'uomo perfetto. E non parlo di aspetto fisico, in realtà nessuno dei tre è il mio tipo. Invece se dovessero chiedermi "in quale appartamento vorresti vivere?", io risponderei "per tutta la vita quello di Baryshnikow... ehm scusate Aleksandr Petrosvsky". Favoloso!!!
Which is you favourite team? Girls! I’m not talking about football teams, but about Mr. Big, Aidan and Provsky. Even if the love story between Carrie and Mr. Big is an idyllic one and they could not avoid to end up together, I'm firmly convinced that Aidan was the man of every woman's dreams. I’m not referring to aesthetical beauty — to be honest, none of them is my type. Anyway, should I be asked “In which apartment would you live?”, I’ll answer: " No doubt! Every day of my life I'll choose Baryshnikow’s... hem, sorry, Aleksandr Petrosvsky’s! Amazing!!!

PS: L'appartamento di Aidan non sono riuscita a trovarlo. Se sapete se e quando si vede nel telefilm provo a fare una ricerca approfondita! Grazie.

L'appartamento di Carrie e Big nel secondo film, ha uno stile decisamente più maturo. Si intravedono elementi prettamente mascolini che si mescolano con tocchi femminili (vedi le farfalle all'entrata).
Posso dirlo però? Niente a che vedere con l'appartamento del primo film! Quel paradiso immobiliare al 1010 di Fifth Avenue. Valutato dai 40 ai 50 milioni di dollari. Leggete qui che storia c'è dietro a quel palazzo!
In the second movie, Carrie and Big’s apartment presents a more mature style. Heavy masculine elements combine with feminine traits (like the butterflies at the entrance). Let me say that: nothing to do with the first movie at all! That paradisiacal estate rising at Fifth Avenue, 1010… It was valued at between 40 and 50 million dollars. Read about the amazing story of that building!

La cabina armadio non c'era inizialmente, l'ha fatta costruire Mr. Big successivamente per Carrie, ma non vale la pena mostrarla? Che sogno!

Sono sicura che molte di voi amano le lanterne tanto quanto me. In casa ne ho già due (grazie Ikea), ma ciò non toglie che sicuramente me ne comprerò ancora. Sinceramente spero di trovarne alcune vintage ad un prezzo accettabile. Voi ne avete? Vi piacciono?

Più di un anno e mezzo fa, vi avevo raccontato la mia passione per le bib-necklace. E ora finalmente sono riuscita a finire la mia collana personale. E' da quasi due anni che sto cercando il materiale e il progetto giusto, il tempo e la pazienza per finirla.
More than a year and a half ago, I wrote about my passion for bib-necklaces. And now I finally managed to finish my personal one. It's almost two years that I'm looking for the perfect materials, the perfect design, the time and patience to finish it.

Interamente cucita a mano, con pietre semipreziose quali turchesi, madreperla, onice, altre pietre dure e decorazioni di perline e paillettes nere. Cosa ne dite? Ho fatto un buon lavoro?
Entirely hand-made by myself, with semiprecious stones such as turquoise, mother-of-pearls, onyx, other semiprecious stones and black beads and sequins decorations. What do you think? Did I do a good job?

Come promesso con la fine delle vacanze natalizie è tornata la rubrica che spia le case delle blogger.
Oggi è il turno di Olga del blog Lola From Valencia. L'ho scoperta grazie a Lookbook, e mi ha subito colpito il fatto che fosse interior designer. In più questa bellissima ragazza russa di 26 anni propone un sacco di outfit carini e adatti a temperature gelide. MAYBE WANTED // IKEA RUG

Ieri sono andata a farmi un giretto all'Ikea (che non fa mai male!) A parte la scorpacciata di polpette e patatine, ne sono uscita con un carrello pieno di roba... ehm ehm... per fortuna dovevo comprare giusto due cosine!
Attualmente sto "disperatamente" cercando un tappeto da mettere in soggiorno che mi aggradi. Uno l'avrei già trovato ma costa moltissimo, perciò sto cercando un degno sostituito, ma delle mie idee ve ne parlerò in un altro momento. Oggi volevo parlarvi di uno dei pochi tappeti Ikea che mi piace: Ikea Stockholm Rand. E' bianco e nero, sobrio, ma è introvabile! E vorrei proprio vederlo dal vivo per poterlo giudicare e soprattutto per sentirne il tessuto. Voi l'avete mai visto? vi piace?

At the moment I'm "desperately" looking for a beautiful rug for the living room. Ho sempre vissuto in una casa piena di quadri appesi al muro. Stanze piene e ripiene ;) di quadri di tutti i tipi e con tutte le cornici possibili. Quando ho iniziato ad arredare casa mia ho fatto subito una precisazione: le cornici saranno solo bianche e i quadri saranno appesi solo nel muro delle scale e secondo una logica, precisamente questa (grazie Ikea):

DIY // TRAY TOM'S DRAG INSPIRATION

Una volta un'amica, conoscendo i miei gusti minimal, mi ha chiesto: "Ma a te piacciono queste cose?". Stavamo parlando delle creazioni di Tom Hoffmann, precisamente della collezione Tom's Drag. Quest'artista del '56 è veramente un visionario. Mobili, porcellane, statue e oggetti vari sono multicolor, divertenti e artigianali, ogni pezzo infatti è dipinto a mano.
Time ago a friend of mine, that knows I like minimal style, told me: "But do you like this kind of things?". We were talking about Tom Hoffmann creations, exactly Tom's Drag one. This artist, born in 1956, is really a visionary. Furnitures, porcelains, statues, objects are colourful, funny and handmade, in fact every piece is hand painted.

Ogni volta che passavo davanti al negozio sotto casa che vende le sue creazioni, mi soffermavo sempre a sognare di comprare tutto, finché mi sono decisa a realizzare un vassoio ispirandomi a lui. Il disegno comunque l'ho realizzato io e... l'ho cambiato un milione di volte. Questa è la versione definitiva. Spero vi piaccia!
Every time I went through my town centre, past the shop that sells his creations, I stopped and dreamed to buy everything, until I decide to do a tray on my own, inspired by him. I created the design on my own and... I changed a million times. This is the definitive version. Hope you like it!

C'è chi lo odia, c'è chi lo ama. Gilmore Girls, conosciuto in Italia come "Una mamma per amica" è un telefilm dove il dialogo è al primo posto. Io lo amo proprio perché i protagonisti non sanno che si deve respirare tra una frase e l'altra :) Un continuum parlare, parlare, parlare, ma in modo ironico! Adoro il loro sarcasmo. E a voi piace?
Some people hate it, some people love it. Gilmore Girls is a serial tv where conversation is in first place. I just love it because the characters didn't know they have to breathe between one sentence and the other :) A continuum talk, talk, talk but in ironic way! I love sarcasm. And you love this serial tv?

Oggi vi presento la casa di Lorelai. Devo dire la verità a me non piace molto, ma sicuramente risulta essere calda e accogliente. Ciò che preferisco? Il portico con la staccionata bianca.

Allora ragazze, com'è stata l'ultima notte del 2011? Spero bene per tutte! Io l'ho passata in tutta tranquillità con il mio Mr. Per l'occasione ho indossato vestito e colletto Peter Pan tutto hand-made!
Purtroppo non ho foto dell'abito intero, quindi vi spiego com'è: un tubino non aderente in lana rosso scuro, maniche lunghe. Ma del mio colletto pieno di paillettes, cosa ne dite? vi piace?
So girls, how did you spend your last night of 2011? Hope everything was okay! I spent it in love with my Mr. and for the occasion I wore an hand-made dress and Peter Pan collar. La vigilia di Natale in tv hanno trasmesso uno dei miei film preferiti "Il cowboy con il velo da sposa" ("The Parent Trap" titolo originale). Mi riempie sempre di gioia vederlo perché mi ricorda quando lo guardavo da bambina, il film è comunque molto più vecchio, esattamente del 1961.
One of my favourite movie, "The Parent Trap", was broadcast the Christmas Eve. It fill me with joy every time I watch it because when I was a baby I always watched it. Anyway this movie is much older than me, is from 1961.

La prima volta che ho visto il blog fotografico di Alexandra me ne sono innamorata. Usa uno stile che mi rispecchia profondamente. Non smetterò mai di farle i complimenti!

Sono stata colpita dallo stile Haussmannien dell'appartamento, tipico della Parigi fine '800. Adoro le grandi vetrate, e le antiche decorazioni che ben si sposano con un eventuale arredamento contemporaneo.
I was really impressed with the Haussmannien style of her flat, the symbol of the late 19th century Paris. I love big windows and ancient decorations, even when matched with contemporary furnishing.

CHRISTMAS TREE

Oggi sarebbe il lunedì dedicato alla rubrica "Blogger House", ma giustamente siamo tutti pieni di impegni e le bloggers che ho contattato non hanno avuto il tempo di scattare le foto della loro casa. Appena avrò tutto il materiale farò il post.
Today, it should have been the day dedicated to “Blogger House”, but we all are very busy in this period and all the bloggers I've contacted didn’t have enough time to take some pictures of their house. As soon as I gather all the material, I’ll publish my post.

Nel frattempo pubblico le foto del mio albero di Natale! Ormai sapete già come l'ho decorato, e vederlo intero forse non sarà poi una così grande novità. Tra l'altro dovevo fare altre foto decenti, ma non ho avuto tempo, perciò perdonatemi!!

Quello che ancora non avete visto è che nella punta dell'albero ho messo un fiore per capelli, quello nero di H&M :) Alla base invece ho scelto di decorare con un boa di piume bianco. Sembra neve, e l'effetto è davvero carino e non kitsch.
So while waiting for that, enjoy some photos of my Xmas tree! You’ve already seen my decorations and, perhaps, it won’t be that exciting to see the entire tree. What’s more, I wanted to take some nice pictures, but believe me, I had no time at all, so please forgive me!
What you haven’t seen yet is that on the top of my tree I've fixed a flower hair clip — the black one by H&M — and on the bottom I’ve placed a white feather boa. It reminds me of snow and the effect is really nice, definitely not kitsch.

Sicuramente molte di voi mi diranno che nella punta avrei dovuto osare con qualcosa di bianco, in realtà ho scelto il nero appositamente perché la mia mini casa dallo stile minimal è tutta bianca/nera/grigia.
I do expect some of you to tell me that I should have decorated the top with something white, but actually I've chosen a black ornament on purpose, right because I used white, black, and grey as the colours of my minimal small house.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING // TREE DECORATION

Il Natale per me ha un significato principalmente religioso, ma non riesco a non apprezzare tutto ciò che ci sta intorno: le luci, i regali, l'atmosfera, l'albero, le decorazioni, ecc.
Christmas holds mainly a religious meaning for me, but I must admit that I cannot resist not appreciating all that comes with it: lights, gifts, the atmosphere, the Xmas tree and all decorations, etc…

Sulla pagina facebook avevo pubblicato un'anteprima di come ho deciso di decorare l'albero. E ora lo mostro anche nel blog. Ma non l'albero intero, quella verrà più avanti :)
On my Facebook page, I posted a preview of my Xmas tree and its ornaments. And now I going to the same here in my blog too. No pictures of the entire tree, though: those will only come later! :)

Per inaugurare il primo Natale nella casa nuova ho scelto un albero mignon (visto lo spazio ristretto) e uno stile minimal. Luci fredde, vere pigne al naturale, catena di perle argentate, e quello di cui vado più fiera: goccie di cristallo sfaccettato di vecchi lampadari acquistate ad un mercatino dell'antiquariato. Cosa ne pensate?
To celebrate my first Christmas in the new house I ended up with a small Xmas tree (as the space is limited) and a minimal style. Cold lights, real natural pinecones, silver bead chains, and — what I'm most proud of — multifaceted crystal drops from ancient chandeliers I discovered in an antique market. Do you like it?

Ci sono diversi modi per decorare l'albero in maniera diversa e personalizzata. Di seguito alcuni spunti: feltro fermato con degli spilli, semplici palline di vetro trasparenti con all'interno piume, corda o fili colorati, bottoni oppure palline decorate con semplice carta da giornale, colla vinilica e brillantini! Non le trovate fantastiche?
There is a plentiful of ways for decorating a Xmas tree and maintaining a personal style. Here some hints for you: felt items to stick with pins, glass balls filled with feathers, ropes and coloured wool threads, buttons or balls decorated with newspapers, vinyl glue and sparkling decorations. Don’t you think they are just lovely?

MY SHOPPING NIGHT // APERITIVO CON IL CAPITANO

Mercoledì sera guardando la seconda puntata di "Shopping Night" con Enzo e Carla su Real Time, sono tornata bambina. Quando immaginavo di vestirmi con abiti che non avevo, quando vestivo le mie barbie per ogni occasione, quando giocavo con gira la moda, quando disegnavo pagine e pagine di abiti.
Nel momento in cui ho visto le tre concorrenti indossare i loro outfit per "l'aperitivo con il capitano", tema della puntata, ho pensato "oh mamma, ma come si sono conciate?". Sono subito andata su polyvore e ho creato il mio look. Ecco perché sono tornata alla mia infanzia. Lasciatemelo fare una volta alla settimana.
Last Wednesday, the second episode of the TV program “Shopping Night”, hosted by Enzo Miccio and Carla Gozzi and aired on Real Time channel, took me back to my childhood. When I was a child, I used to dream of wearing unaffordable clothes, dress my Barbie dolls for many different occasions, play with Fashion Wheel, draw pages and pages of dresses.
As soon as I saw the three contestants’ outfits for the “Cocktail with the Captain” — the theme of the episode — I thought “Oh my God! What on earth have they got on them then?!”. I immediately opened the Polyvore page and created my personal look. That’s why I said it took me back to my childhood. Let me do it once a week.

CHRISTMAS IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER // CHRISTMAS WREATH

Natale è alle porte, lo so, lo sapete e ve l'ho anche già detto qui, quando vi proponevo tante idee regalo. Ora però voglio aiutarvi nelle decorazioni. Io adoro il Natale e adoro ancor di più abbellire la casa, ornarla di ghirlande, candele, luci, ecc.
Christmas is coming… I know it, you know it too and we’ve already talked about it here when I suggested several gift ideas. Now, some tips for you home decorations! I love Xmas and, what’s more, I like decorating my house, embellishing it with wreaths, candles, lights and so on.

Ammetto che ho cominciato da una settimana, con albero e DIY vari. Non ho ancora fatto delle foto, perciò aspettatevi altri post.
Nel frattempo volevo mostrarvi la corona che ho realizzato. E' un procedimento molto semplice, vi serviranno:
- fil di ferro abbastanza spesso (altrimenti il peso delle palline farà diventare la vostra ghirlanda un uovo!)
- tantissime palline, dello stesso colore, di colore diverso, della stessa misura, di misure diverse, insomma come preferite, non c'è limite alla fantasia!
- un nastro abbastanza grande.
Dopodiché fate un cerchio con il fil di ferro e infilate le palline. Quando avrete formato un cerchio completo, chiudete il filo girandolo su sé stesso, prendete un nastro, avvolgetelo alla corona, formate un fiocco e voilà il gioco è fatto!
I must admit I started a week ago: I decorated the Xmas tree and did some DIYs. I haven’t taken pictures yet, so bargain on other posts upcoming!
Meanwhile, I want to show you how I’ve created this wreath. The process is really simple. All you need is:
- an iron wire: a quite thick one (if it is too thin, the wreathe will get an egg shape because of the weight of the balls);
- a fabric band/ribbon;
- lots of Xmas balls, all on the same colour or different colours, same size of different sizes, I mean, as you like, free your creativity!
When you are ready, create a ring with the iron wire and insert the balls. After completing a circle, put the two wire ends together and turn them over and over so to close the wreath. Take the band, coil it up around the wreath and form a ribbon and… that’s it!

La corona la potete fare anche incollando le palline con la colla a caldo ad un cerchio di cartone, solo che poi non potrete riutilizzarle per qualcos'altro l'anno dopo.
Another way of making this wreath is to glue the balls onto a paper circle using a hot melt glue gun, but then you won’t be able to reuse the balls the year after.

Per la vostra corona diy potete sbizzarvi, usando gomitoli, piume, foglie secche (bucce) di granturco dipinte, dischetti di feltro fermati con degli spilli.
Do not put restraints on your creativity: you can use balls of wools, feathers, dried and coloured corn husks, felt circles to stick with pins.

BLOGGER HOUSE // MY FREE CHOICE

Virtualmente questo weekend sono stata in visita da Erika, del blog My Free Choice. Mi ha mostrato la sua adorabile stanza, ma più avanti ha promesso di condividere con noi anche il suo futuro nido d'amore. Attualmente infatti sta cercando casa con il suo ragazzo. E chissà che questo post possa essere d'aiuto per qualche venditore disperato così diventerei anche la nuova Paola Marella, Balenciaga comprese :D

Last weekend, I virtually visited Erika, from My Free Choice blog. She showed me her lovely bedroom, but she promised she will soon share with us her future love nest. At the moment she is looking for a house for her and her boyfriend. Se frequentate i blog di moda, vi sarete sicuramente accorte che con l'arrivo del freddo stanno tornando in auge i colori caldi, soprattutto il color senape. Rosaspina, Verdementa, Nathalie ne sono un esempio.

Prezzi per tutte le tasche :) A parte il divano di Moroso di Nipa Doshi e Jonathan Levien che resterà un sogno, mi piace molto la coperta di Anthropologie, magari per un picnic sotto gli alberi pieni di foglie rosse. E voi usereste il color senape in casa?

TV INTERIOR DESIGN // GHOST

Alzi la mano chi non ha mai visto almeno una volta "Ghost" con Demi Moore e Patrick Swayze. Vediamo... mmm... nessuna! Beh immaginavo, questo film drammatico fortemente romantico del 1990 sarà stato trasmesso almeno... una volta l'anno? 21 anni di Ghost?? oh mamma.

A me questo film non piace un granché, non è il mio genere. Adoro solo Whoopi Goldberg, un mito come sempre. E ovviamente il loft della coppia che credo molti si ricorderanno, ...

... ma quanti sanno che questo loft è un set cinematografico che rispecchia in tutto e per tutto la casa+studio della scultrice Michele Oka Doner? Stupendo. Uffa, quando smetterò di sognare un ambiente così?

Uccidetemi ora! Una biblioteca in casa! Bellissimo, a parte per la polvere :)

Questi termosifoni che avvolgono le colonne originali scaldano l'ambiente, mimetizzandosi.

Non trovate una fantastica idea utilizzare lo spazio delle enormi vetrate
per le mensole appoggia-stoviglie?

NIZZA // NICE HIPARK RESIDENCES

Quando sono andata a Nizza non vi ho detto dove ho soggiornato! Che grave mancanza :)

In realtà volevo mostrarvi che bel posto sono riuscita a scovare. Non è un hotel ma un residence con mini appartamenti, attrezzati con cucina e adsl in camera, sala palestra e piscina nel tetto. Visto lo standard del luogo non è neppure molto caro.

Si chiama Hipark Residences e si trova a dieci minuti a piedi dalla città vecchia e a 5 minuti dalla fermata del tram che vi porterà ovunque voi vogliate. Ottima posizione per una pigrona come me. L'unico neo è che se volete andare a Nizza per rilassarvi in spiaggia non è proprio l'ideale, dista circa 20 minuti a piedi dal mare.

CHRISTMAS IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER // GIFT IDEAS

Natale è alle porte e ho pensato di darvi qualche spunto. Una volta mi ritrovavo a comprare i regali all'ultimo momento, oggi invece ho capito che occuparsene in anticipo è la cosa migliore:
- primo perché non divento pazza (la gente nei negozi è fuori di sé man mano che ci si avvicina al 25);
- secondo perché risultano essere dei regali più ragionati e quindi forse più apprezzati :)

Qui di seguito degli spunti un po' home, un po' personal, ad un prezzo inferiore ai 50,00 €. Anche gli articoli Pantone (di cui avevo già parlato qui) possono venirvi in aiuto, sono simpatici e ad un prezzo abbordabile.

TV INTERIOR DESIGN // TWILIGHT

Come credo ben sapete, è uscito Breaking Dawn, la prima parte dell'ultimo episodio della saga Twilight. Devo confessare che io ho visto solo il primo film, appunto Twilight. E di cosa mi sono innamorata? Di Edward, ehm... scusate... della sua casa! Ma ve la ricordate? Un pezzo architettonico fantastico! Ma a quanto pare in tutti e quattro i film ci sono ville e interni favolosi, prometto che prima o poi li guarderò tutti.

Oggi volevo proporvi quindi la prima Casa Cullen. Trattasi non di un set cinematografico ma di una struttura di 400 mq circa progettata da Jeff Kovel via Skylab Architecture, costruita da Metcalf Construction, con Lucy Metcalf come arredatrice e paesaggista. Stiamo parlando di The Hoke House, chiamata così perché fu costruita nel 2007 per John Hoke, l'executive della Nike.

Quando ho ricevuto le foto della casa di Monica Arbib, ho subito notato gli specchi/oblò. Li trovo davvero fantastici, anche perché vado pazza per gli oggetti cromati.
